Black Dogs Project
This photo series started after a conversation about how black dogs have a harder time getting adopted than other dogs. I decided to start a photo series photographing black dogs on a black background in my studio. Using social media, I recruited local dog owners to come to my studio to let me photograph their dogs. The project reached a critical mass and, once it was picked up by the Huffington Post, it went viral. This blog was one of the top Tumblr blogs of 2014 and has kept growing.
